Invesco Announces Changes to Portfolio Management for Invesco Van Kampen Dynamic Credit Opportunities Fund, Invesco Van Kampen High Income Trust II, and and Invesco Van Kampen Senior Income Trust

HOUSTON, June 25, 2010—Investment management decisions for Invesco Van
Kampen Dynamic Credit Opportunities Fund (NYSE: VTA) (the Fund) are made by the
investment management teams at Invesco Senior Secured Management, Inc. (Invesco
Senior Secured) and Avenue Europe International ManManagement, L.P. (Avenue Europe),
the Fund’s investment subadvisers (the Subadvisers).
The following individuals are jointly and primarily responsible for the day-to-day
management of the Fund’s portfolio:
- Mr. Scott Baskind has been managing the Fund since 2010 and has been
associated with Invesco Senior Secured and/or its affiliates since 1999. Scott
began his career in 1996, as a Financial Analyst at the Bureau of Fiscal
Management, City of New York. Later that year, he joined NatWest Markets as a
Commercial Lending Analyst. In 1997, he joined Gleacher NatWest as an
associate in the Leveraged Finance and Private Equities Group. He was
responsible for credit analysis of non-investment grade bank loans and
mezzanine debt financings.
- Mr. Greg Stoeckle has been managing the Fund since 2010 and has been
associated with Invesco Senior Secured and/or its affiliates since 1999. Mr.
Stoeckle’s career stretches back more than 20 years and has been developed
through progressively senior roles in banking and investment management.
- Mr. Philip Yarrow has been managing the Fund since 2007 and has been
associated with Invesco Senior Secured and/or its affiliates since 2010. From
2005-2010 and prior to joining Invesco Senior Secured, Mr. Yarrow was an
Executive Director with Morgan Stanley. Previously, he was a credit analyst and a
portfolio manager at Bank One/JP Morgan. He has more than 15 years of
investment experience.
- Mr. Richard Furst has been associated with Avenue Europe in an investment
management capacity since 2004. Prior to joining Avenue Europe, he was a
portfolio manager with Moore Capital Group, managing approximately $1 billion
of U.S. and European distressed and high yield securities. Prior to that, he was a
Managing Director and Head of U.S. Special Situations Trading group for Bank of
America. Previously, Mr. Furst was a Vice President in the High Yield and
Distressed Trading and Research department of Salomon Brothers, Inc., after
serving as an Analyst in their Mergers, Acquisitions, and Restructuring group.
- Mr. Paul Ramirez has been associated with Avenue Europe in an investment
management capacity since 2006. Prior to joining Avenue Europe, Mr. Ramirez
was a portfolio manager based in London at Goldentree Asset Management UK,
focused on European investments. Previously, Mr. Ramirez was Executive
Director of the Special Situations Group at Morgan Stanley, focused on the
European energy sector. While at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Ramirez was also the
Head of European Distressed Research.
The following individuals are jointly and primarily responsible for the day-to-day
management of Invesco Van Kampen High Income Trust II (NYSE: VLT) (the Trust):
- Mr. Peter Ehret (lead manager) has been managing the Trust since 2010 and has
been associated with the Adviser or its affiliates since 2001. Previously he was
the director of high yield research and a portfolio manager for Van Kampen
Investment Advisory Corp. Prior to joining Van Kampen, he worked in real estate
finance with The Bank of Nova Scotia.
- Mr. Darren Hughes has been managing the Trust since 2010 and has been
associated with the Adviser or its affiliates since 1992. Prior to joining the
Adviser, he worked in the retail brokerage industry.
- Mr. Scott Roberts has been managing the Trust since 2010 and has been
associated with the Adviser or its affiliates since 2000. Previously, he was a high
yield analyst and trader with Van Kampen Investment Advisory Corp.
Investment management decisions for Invesco Van Kampen Senior Income Trust
(NYSE: VVR) (the Trust) are made by the investment management team at Invesco
Senior Secured Management, Inc. (Invesco Senior Secured). The following
individuals are jointly and primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of
the Trust:
- Mr. Thomas Ewald has been managing the Trust since 2010 and has been
associated with Invesco Senior Secured and/or its affiliates since 2000. Prior to
joining Invesco Senior Secured, Mr. Ewald was one of the founding portfolio
managers of First Union Institutional Debt Mgmt. and assisted in growing assets
under management to more than $2 billion. Before joining Institutional Debt
Mgmt., he worked for several departments within First Union Securities, including
par loan research, syndications, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Mr. Philip Yarrow has been managing the Trust since 2007 and has been
associated with Invesco Senior Secured and/or its affiliates since 2010. From
2005-2010 and prior to joining Invesco Senior Secured, Mr. Yarrow was an
Executive Director with Morgan Stanley. Previously, he was a credit analyst and a
portfolio manager at Bank One/JP Morgan. He has more than 15 years of
investment experience.
