Value Municipal Income Trust Announce Approval of Reorganization

Van Kampen Asset Management announced today that the shareholders of Van Kampen Pennsylvania Quality Municipal Trust (NYSE/CHX: VPQ) approved the reorganization of VPQ into Van Kampen Pennsylvania Value Municipal Income Trust (NYSE/CHX: VPV) at a special meeting of shareholders held on November 22, 2005. In the reorganization, shareholders of VPQ will receive newly issued shares of VPV. The transaction is currently expected to close on or about December 2, 2005, subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions.
