Van Kampen Senior Income Trust (VVR) and Van Kampen Dynamic Credit Opportunities Fund (VTA) Announce Portfolio Manager Changes

CHICAGO (July 17, 2008) - Van Kampen Funds Inc., a subsidiary of Van Kampen Investments Inc. (“Van Kampen”) announces that Christina Jamieson, Co-Head of the Senior Loan Group and Managing Director and portfolio manager of Van Kampen Asset Management (the “Adviser”), has announced her intention to retire from the Adviser in October 2008 after eight years with the Adviser. Ms. Jamieson has served as a portfolio manager for Van Kampen Senior Income Trust (VVR) since 2006 and for Van Kampen Dynamic Credit Opportunities Fund (VTA and, together with VVR, the “Funds”) since its inception.

While Ms. Jamieson will remain available to the team through October 2008, she will transition her day-to-day portfolio management responsibilities to her co-portfolio manager, Philip Yarrow, Executive Director of the Adviser, effective August 1, 2008. Senior Adviser Howard Tiffen will continue to provide guidance to the Senior Loan Group. Additionally, effective July 17, 2008, Gerard Fogarty and Jeffrey Scott, Vice Presidents of the Adviser, have joined the Funds’ portfolio management team as assistant portfolio managers.

The Van Kampen Senior Loan Group will continue to manage the Funds according to their respective investment objectives, strategies and benchmarks. The Senior Loan Group includes more than 20 senior loan analysts.

Philip Yarrow joined the Adviser in 2005 and has 13 years of investment experience. Prior to joining the Adviser, he was a credit analyst and a portfolio manager at Bank One/JPMorgan. He received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from the University of Nottingham and an M.B.A. in finance from Northwestern University. Mr. Yarrow holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Gerard Fogarty joined the Adviser in 2007 and has approximately 11 years of investment experience.

Prior to joining the Adviser, Mr. Fogarty held a number of positions with JP Morgan, most recently as a Credit Executive in the commercial real estate group. Mr. Fogarty was employed as an Associate in the financial institutions group at Bank of America prior to joining JP Morgan. Mr. Fogarty received a B.S. from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Jeffrey Scott first joined the Adviser in 1990 and has more than 18 years of investment industry experience. Prior to re-joining the Adviser in 2005, Mr. Scott held a number of positions with State Farm Insurance Companies. Mr. Scott received a B.S. degree in Finance and Economics from Elmhurst College and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. The Adviser is a wholly owned subsidiary of Van Kampen.
