If you move money from a non-retirement account with
same class of shares to a retirement account, you are
processing what is generally called a "fiduciary exchange", to fund your
retirement account. This type of "fiduciary exchange" is processed as a
redemption from your non-retirement account and a contribution at
the next determined net asset value per share of the fund to your
retirement account. This may be a taxable event; contact your tax advisor for more
information about taxability.
Fiduciary Exchanges can generally be processed online. An
existing fiduciary account must be already established to process a
fiduciary
exchange.Certain restrictions apply.
Excludes certain account types and the Van Kampen Senior Loan Fund. |
